Btek Renewable Energy Products is located in New Tecumseth, Ontario, on a plateau just 5 minutes north of Schomberg and 8 minutes west of Tottenham Ontario Canada. We have been located here for 10 years, and knew very early on, that this location was meant for more than just growing hay. We knew there was an untapped wealth here, and it was as obvious as the Sun and the Wind.
In 2004, we were fortunate to have attended the Ontario Wind Summit, which highlighted several guest speakers from the Netherlands, and Norway. European countries that have made a decision to include renewable energy in their plans to sustain their population's present and future energy needs.
Here at Btek, we understand that it is going to take the efforts and the actions of the people of this planet to make the change, and do not expect our governments to do much more than perhaps offer some rebates. In the long run it will be the choice of the people, that ensures that renewable energy options are available. If we do not demand these methods, we will be offered only what suits the corporations that really do not care about the health and well being of our planet.
We are presently installing a Skystream 3.7 along with a 1 KW solar array, that will give us power when the grid is down, and also reduce the amount of energy we require from the grid, therefore reducing our energy costs by entering a NET METERING agreement. Becoming less reliant on fossil fuels which only adds to the global epidemic of global warming and increased carbon emmisions.
